Dear Friends of all Ages.
It's been a rough year healthwise and it has taken until now to make this decision. I've been sharing art techniques and processes with literally thousands of aspiring artists of all ages since 1976. It's in my veins. It has been a ton of fun. However, for the first time since 1990 I will not be offering Aartz West classes this summer, due to health reasons.
I will be closing the Aartz West Studio at the end of June.
That's me in the jaws of a T rex at the Bishop Museum in Honolulu. I call my cancerous affliction a Chimera. The cancerous chimera has not yet been vanquished, but we're getting there! | ||

Artful Petroglyph Hike, Santa Fe

Kokopelli awaits you!
A scant 25 minutes from the Aartz West Studio in Santa Fe, NM, is a treasure trove of hundreds of mysterious petroglyphs, carved into living rock nearly a thousand years ago.
Tour this magical place with Liza Myers.
It's a bit of a rock scramble so please wear sturdy shoes. I have taken 5 year olds on the hike but it's not a smooth path! Bring a water bottle and a hat. There are various options for transportation depending upon the size of the group.
