There are some choices we can make, and others which are thrust upon us. Sometimes with gentle love, sometimes with violence and hatred.
Like most of the world, I feel horrified, numb, shocked and frightened after the tragic events in Orlando. There is no sense or reason to mass murder or to blind hatred.
My heart goes out to the thousands of friends and family members of the dead and wounded. Their sense of trust is forever broken.
On Monday night the moon shone in Orlando, as it did here: round and warm.
