Happy are the painters for they shall not be lonely.
Light and colour, peace and hope
shall keep them company to the end of the day.
–Winston Churchill
Today was a teaching day for me. Saturday and Sunday 9-5 at the Community College of Vermont. It's so great to have a group of enthusiastic students, eager for information about color, composition and technique. I just received the following email from one of my adult students:
Dear Liza,
I just want to stay home and PAINT!! The light coming through the trees this morning was calling me to saturate a page with color and rhythm. Thank you for a great weekend…I’m still dancing!
Is that great or what?
