It's been three years since my last trip to Peru, and I am SO ready to go again! This time we're adding a week to the trip- 7 extra days in Arequipa and Colca! The extra time allows us to acclimate to the altitude before traveling to 11,000 feet in Cuzco, and there are some fabulous things to see in the Arequipa region as well. During that time we'll spend a night next to Colca Canyon, the second deepest canyon IN THE WORLD! It's twice the depth of the Grand Canyon.
