not going all the way, and not starting.
Buddah
I know I have used that quote before, but there's also this one:
Canvas giclées- a whole new world of imagery.
I have always felt strange about reproductions of my work, and have never done any prints of my nests or visionary realism. But with this new technology I am excited about the possibility of making them available in a very limited edition. It is astonishing how true the color and texture is.
An original is takes me many weeks to finish. Sometimes months or years as evidenced by the coral reef painting in the preceding post.
An archival giclée on canvas looks A LOT- almost exactly like an original, but is a very high quality reproduction. Archival just means that it is acid free, and guaranteed not to fade. Limited edition means there will only ever be a certain number of them.
So I'm launching an archival giclée edition on canvas of a few of the nests. The editions will be of 90 and 95. I'll post a link to the new website page this weekend. Meanwhile: here
are two of the images that will be available.
If you're interested in purchasing one of these new giclées, you can either email: liza@lizamyers.com,

Is it foolish to put my phone number in a public blog?
Guess I'll find soon out.
