From an original watercolor painting of pink oriental poppies painted by Liza Myers in her spring garden in Sudbury, Vermont. This limited edition, signed and numbered giclée print brings us a moment of an early summer day in a Vermont garden.
Liza writes: Papaver Orientale have such a short season. It always seems that I am just about to paint them when they're already beginning to fade. The color is complicated as it catches on their crinkled, translucent petals, with the strange and lovely seed pod in the center. The dance of light and transparency on petals is continually changing.
The original painting is AVAILABLE, for information about other peony paintings, or commissions, please contact the gallery: jim@lizamyers.com
We print our own giclées here at 22 Center Street in Brandon, Vermont using only high-quality print inks, paper and canvas. Each print is signed and numbered by Liza Myers.
