This painting of hepatica is particularly special to Liza since it is in honor of her mother, Margaret Peterson Myers who taught Liza and her 5 siblings to see and appreciate the details in nature. Hepatica are a tiny, impossibly delicate flower that emerge from the leaf litter and naked ground just after snow melt. That something so fragile could survive the harshness of winter gives hope.
We print our own giclée reproductions here at 22 Center Street in Brandon, Vermont using only the highest quality print inks, paper and canvas. Each print is signed and numbered by Liza Myers.
