From an original watercolor painting by Liza Myers painted in her studio in Brandon, Vermont. This limited edition, signed and numbered giclée print shows a pair of pileated woodpeckers in the forest
Liza writes: Pileated woodpeckers are such an amazing sight. When they loop across our forest enclosed back yard in Sudbury, it's always a moment of celebration. I remember vividly the first time I saw one in Cylburn Park in downtown Baltimore Maryland. I was a member of the Maryland Junior Ornithological Society: probably an Audubon pre-cursor. I was with all my siblings and we stopped in awe of the big bird as it drummed into a large yew in search of beetles.
