 Aartz West's Summer Aartz 2018

May 29- June 28

Small, individualized classes using professional materials in Liza's personal studio.

Each day young artists have the opportunity to explore and expand their creativity with a wide variety of art materials, including clay, oil pastel, watercolor, acrylic, metallic foil, pen and ink, felt, pencil, print making, charcoal, markers AND MORE!

$195 per workshop includes all materials, personalized instruction with a professional artist (Liza!) and a healthy morning snack. For lunch we walk to a park and picnic.

About Liza

After many adventurous and artful years of teaching (and exhibiting her sculpture and paintings) in New England, Maryland and South America, award-winning artist and educator Liza Myers is back home in Santa Fe to open Aartz West, a teaching studio.

Liza is certified to teach art Kindergarten- 12th grade and has taught at the University level. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UNM and a Masters in Fine Arts from Maryland Institute College of Art, she has had the good fortune to teach many kinds of art to thousands of students at every educational level in public and private schools since 1976.

She was honored by Vermont’s Association of Art Educators as Vermont Art Educator of the Year.

Since opening the Liza Myers Studio and Gallery in Brandon, Vermont in 2003 Liza has shared her love of creativity with hundreds of students in a private studio setting. And now she’s in Santa Fe!
