$3575 includes hotels. most meals, bus, train and air travel within Peru, museum entries, bi-lingual guides, great camraderie, AND airfare from JFK to Lima to Cuzco and from Puno to Lima to JFK
This includes four credits in Spanish Culture from Castleton State College.

The trip will be at your pace. Good health, a good attitude and average strength are essential.

Travel light but bring what you need.
A detailed list of recommendations will be sent to all participants.Many things we take for granted are difficult to find in Peru. Be prepared to layer clothing. It can be chilly in Cuzco or steamy on the edge of the rain forest at Machu Picchu.
Fleece is your friend.
Native Peruvian Ana Alfaro Alexander has been a professor of Spanish at Castleton State College for the past 20 years. Ana's vivacious personality and boundless energy will keep you enthused as she shares her personal insights into Andean culture.
Ana has led groups in Peru, Costa Rica, and has traveled extensively.
Liza Myers is an award winning artist and educator with 34 years of teaching experience and a lifetime of art making. She is also a world traveler, having journeyed to the tip of South America as well as Europe, Thailand, Morroco, Russia and North America.
Liza spent almost eight years living in five countries in Central and South America. This will be her sixth trip to Machu Picchu.
Liza's current series of paintings: Hope Entwined, incorporates imagery of the nests of birds that nest in North America and migrate to Central and South America.
Entwined in the nests are artifacts from native cultures of the Americas.
